Organisers say the week is a must for anyone who loves the outdoors or those looking for some family fun.
The Oberon Redfin Roundup, a family-friendly two-day fishing tournament that aims to reduce the redfin population in Oberon Dam, will be held as part of the week.
The event is targeting families, offering an array of prizes, food and peripheral entertainment to attract anglers to camp and enjoy the surrounds of Lake Oberon.
Entry for the competition is free.
The Redfin Roundup will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 2 and 3 at the Reef Reserve, Oberon.
In 2018, 140 anglers found their way to Oberon for the inaugural Oberon Outdoor Week Redfin Roundup.
RAT RACE
THE Oberon Rat Race "Family Funduro" on Sunday, November 10 will include cross-country running and mountain biking along the shores of Lake Oberon.
A 6.5km course will provide the perfect location for a mountain bike time trial and cross-country running race that will be sure to test competitors' fitness, according to organisers.
The day will also incorporate NSW Bike Week, with a beginners' downhill course giving everyone an opportunity to try mountain biking.
