The community workshops are being conducted by the Lithgow Oberon Landcare Association to help ensure the Lithgow-Oberon region is a better place to live now and in the future.
In addition to the community workshops, have your say by completing a survey form. The survey will take only five to 10 minutes and can be done online (www.surveymonkey.com/r/73G3V2W) or print and post (www.haveyoursay.lithgow.com/download/703/).
Many community members have already completed a survey and said what their major Landcare issues are, provided some great ideas on how to tackle them and even provided a description of how they want Landcare to look in the future.
Scheduled workshops are at Hampton from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Thursday, August 29 at the Halfway Hotel; Oberon from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday, September 4 at the Oberon RSL Club; and Lithgow from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Tuesday, September 10 at the Secret Creek Café.
Light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP for catering to Richard Stephens, Landcare co-ordinator, on 0419 795 781 or email richard.stephens@lithgow.nsw.gov.au
Pre-workshop information and survey is also available at www.haveyoursay.lithgow.com/landcareplan or www.facebook.com/LithgowOberonLandcare
