Rain is predicted for Oberon today as the district struggles to a maximum of just five degrees, but temperatures in the double figures are then predicted for the rest of the week.
Oberon Council's update on Sunday morning said all roads in the Oberon local government area are closed due to ice and snow.
This includes O'Connell Road and Duckmaloi Road.
Oberon Council says road conditions will be updated via its website www.oberon.nsw.gov.au and Facebook page www.facebook.com/oberoncouncil
As well, the snow has forced the Oberon Tigers to cancel their Group 10 match against the Blayney Bears and defer their Can Assist Charity Day to this Sunday, August 18.
The Tigers will host competition favourites the Bathurst Panthers and are hoping for a big crowd in what will be the club's last competition game for the 2019 season.
The Can Assist auction will be held after the games in the Oberon Leagues Club starting at approximately 6pm.
