Oberon Council has announced a partnership with Spartan Race Australia that will bring a series of obstacle races to Oberon in March 2020 and for the two years following.
"The events will bring thousands of new visitors to the Oberon district, showcasing all that our district and businesses have to offer," Ms Lowe said.
"Council is to be congratulated for its initiative. The economic benefits will be significant and the impact which our district and businesses will have on visitors will last well beyond the event itself."
