Oberon Junior Rugby League players have been busy putting together hampers for this year's Can Assist charity auction to be held at the Oberon Leagues Club this Saturday night.
Along with donations from generous businesses, each junior team has donated goods that will go under the hammer to raise funds.
Oberon Junior Rugby League president Spiro Kavalieros said all the junior teams are providing a hamper with goods that have been donated by the wonderful kids and their parents.
"What an awesome group of kids we have and we are truly proud of the effort they put in for such a great cause," he said.
"Last year we managed to raise over $18,000 with the generous support of local businesses and from within our community and we hope to do it again. Any help towards the auction will be truly appreciated. Book the date and make sure you come along.
"It's an event where we can all make a difference for a cause I am personally proud to be a part of. There will be raffles and fundraising activities throughout the day, followed by the auction."
The Oberon Tigers had the bye last week and will host the Blayney Bears this weekend.
