Level two water restrictions, which are designed to reduce the non-essential use of water, began last month in Oberon.
Under the restrictions, fixed hoses and sprinklers connected to the Oberon reticulated water system are banned in residential gardens.
Micro-sprays can be used for 15 minutes and handheld hoses for two hours every second day, outside the hours of 8am to 4pm, on odd or even days matching the house numbering system.
Level three high restrictions will apply when Oberon Dam reaches 25 to 20 per cent.
