BRING your wheelie and walk away with a load of bargains ... the FOOLs' big bargain secondhand book sale will be held at the Robert Hooper Community Centre, Fleming Street this Friday, July 19 from 10am to 4pm and Saturday, July 20 from 9am to 2pm. Pay only a dollar for children's books, mystery, crime, DVDs, adventure, cooking, gardening, biographies and more. All proceeds go to the Oberon Library.

OBERON LIBRARY
OBERON Library will host a Winter Wonderland school holiday activity on Thursday, July 18 from 10.30am to noon for five-year-olds-plus: make puffy paint and create a magical winter landscape.

OBERON Hospital Auxiliary will meet in the Robey Centre of the hospital at 2pm this Friday, July 19.

WASTE TO ART
DID you know that Oberon Waste to Art competition and exhibition began 10 years ago with a cull of very old paperback books from the library? Creative FOOLs found the books could be folded into various shapes, and sent off their first entry displaying the famous Kingsford Smith plane landing in Oberon to the regional Waste to Art exhibition. This year's regional exhibition will be hosted in Oberon from July 27 to August 17.
