Council's tourism and economic development manager Mathew Webb said they were kept busy with calls about the weather.
Most were inquiring about where to find snow and he said they directed tourists to the higher areas such as Black Springs and Shooters Hill.
"Most of the foot traffic through the VIC [Visitor Information Centre] were inquiries about snow, accommodation, fossicking, Jenolan Caves and Mayfield Garden," he said.
"With the cold conditions, I'm sure local eateries and businesses were kept busy catering for the visitors."
Oberon's minimum temperature on Saturday was -1.9 and maximum was 5.6.
Winds got up to 48 kilometres an hour overnight.
