Under the restrictions, fixed hoses and sprinklers connected to the Oberon reticulated water system are banned in residential gardens.
Micro-sprays can be used for 15 minutes and handheld hoses for two hours every second day, outside the hours of 8am to 4pm, on odd or even days matching the house numbering system.
Oberon does not own its water supply. The dam is owned by WaterNSW and Oberon has a water allocation of 1064 megalitres per annum as a licence holder.
Oberon will move to level three (high level) restrictions when Oberon Dam is between 25 and 20 per cent and to level four (very high level) restrictions when Oberon Dam is between 20 and 15 per cent.
