A SECOND incident has occurred on the Great Western Highway in the Blue Mountains with metal on the road slowing down motorists.
Live Traffic reports the metal is on the road at Mount Victoria, near the intersection of Victoria Street, with westbound traffic affected.
Meanwhile, a two-car accident on the Great Western Highway at Lawson earlier on Tuesday morning which left one person trapped is yet to be cleared.

MOTORISTS travelling across the Blue Mountains on Tuesday morning face extensive delays following a two-car accident that has left one person trapped.
The crash occurred a 7.55am on the Great Western Highway, near Somers Street, at Lawson.
Live Traffic reports that a person is trapped in a vehicle and emergency services are on scene.
Traffic is impacted, with two of three lanes in each direction currently closed. Motorists are urged to drive with caution and allow extra travel time.
