ON Friday, May 17, 1S, 1/2WM and 2G students from Oberon Public School visited Taronga Zoo in Sydney.

Students were given the opportunity to watch the bird and seal shows.

They then spent a few hours exploring all the various animal life, including penguins, bears and giraffes.

The gorgeous meerkats and giraffes were a favourite.

The excursion complements the unit of work Living Things, which the students have been studying in class over the past term.

A fantastic day was had by students, teachers and parent helpers who joined the children for the day.
