Peter Griffiths was the winner with 24 points for the 12 holes.
Peter also claimed nearest the pin on the seventh hole at just 2.5 metres. Balls went to Peter Ryan, Laurie Murphy, Harold Lyme and Hugh O'Neil.
Saturday's golf was well-patronised. Thirty-five golfers played an 18-hole stroke event in sunny conditions.
Terry Robinson had a very good round to win the A grade monthly medal with 84/70 and also won the A grade scratch ball. Scott Rowlandson was the runner-up on 85/71. Dennis O'Connell won the A grade putting with 30 putts.
Sean Mooney had a fine round of 89/70 to win the B grade monthly medal and B grade scratch ball. Peter Ryan was the runner-up on 90/73. Peter won the B grade putting with just 29 putts.
Kath Mooney made it a day for the Mooneys, winning the ladies' competition.
Nearest the pin on the first hole was Justin Evans and Andrew Lyme was closest on the ninth hole. Balls for ability went to Justin Evans, Kevin Hally, Andrew Lyme, Dennis O'Connell and Neil Whalan.
This weekend is the long weekend and there will be golf on Saturday (double par) and Monday will be a stableford event.
