All students participated with K-2 children taking time out to have fun in organised novelty events.
A great day was had by all with all students displaying excellent sportsmanship, house spirit and school spirit.
A special mention to 11 years boys champion Jed Ryan and senior boys champion Kallum Baxter who finished first in all seven of their track and field events.
A big thank you to Mr Andrew Sellers who goes above and beyond every year to organise the equipment, set up the venue and ensure the day runs smoothly. Thank you also to all the parents and helpers, your support and assistance is greatly appreciated.
Congratulations to Hampton who was the winning house.
The 2019 athletics champions are: Senior girls Makayla O'Bernier, runner-up Jorja Taylor; senior boys Kallum Baxter, runner-up Riley Shaw; 11 years girl Ebony Howard, runner-up Jaydah Timu; 11 years boy Jed Ryan, runner-up Nash Robertson; junior girl Ashleigh Robinson, runners-up Emily Hill, Brittany Redman and Zoe-Grayce Boss -Walker; junior boy Henry Humphries, runners-up Archie Graham and Joe Ryan.
Black Springs Public School
BLACK Springs School students recently participated in the art and craft competitions at the Bathurst Show.
All students entered paintings and masks. Great effort and congratulations to the award winners.
St Joseph's School
CONGRATULATIONS to our St Joseph's School's Spelling Bee representatives who will now compete in the Diocesan Finals in Wellington on June 6.
