The Don Miller-sponsored nearest to the pin on the 17th was won by Kim Rawlings with 3.63 metres.
The winner on the day was Joe Casey with 28 points. It was great to see Joe back playing golf.
Balls for ability went to Eric Whalan, Kathy Mooney, Doug Collins, Brian Balaam and Alan Cairney.
Saturday's golf was an 18-hole par.
The winner in A Grade was Laurie Murphy with plus two. The runner-up was Adrian Poulten with plus one.
In B grade the winner was Mark Matthews with -1 and the runner up was Paul Behan with -2.
Nearest to the pin winners were Darren Gordon with 1.93 metres on the first hole and and Terry Robinson with 4.57 metres on the ninth hole.
Balls for ability went to Robert McGrath, Andrew Yeo, Scott Rowlandson and Eric Whalan.
Golf this Saturday will be an 18 hole stableford.
Women's golf
IN excellent weather conditions for golf, Marjorie Webb and Robyn Slattery this week played the final round of the Arrow's Newsagency Eliminator.
Maintaining her good form, Marjorie won with 31 points from Robyn, who scored 29 points.
Flo Spence won the daily stableford competition and has also been playing some consistently good golf.
Flo won with 32 points, on a countback from Glennie McGrath. Marjorie Webb came in third with 31 points.
Robyn Slattery won the Division 1 nearest the pin. No one in Division 2 hit the green.
Next week will be the first round of the Pat Arrow Trophy. It will be a stableford. Women's golf is played every Wednesday.
Oberon golf course is an 18 hole course, on the foreshores of Lake Oberon. New members always welcome.
