If you've ever wanted to see inside the fire station, sit in the fire truck, try on some gear, the upcoming open day is the perfect chance.
There will be operational demonstrations, food, Lego and activities for both little and big kids.
Station Commander Keven Verhoeven said that, with the cold setting in, Fire and Rescue NSW was urging residents to take every precaution to avoid a fire in the home.
Members of the team will be happy to answer any questions at the open day, as well as help book smoke alarm inspections and provide information about joining a local brigade.
Doors will be open to the public from 10am to 2pm on Saturday.
