OBERON Pony Club hosted the Oberon Swap Meet on Sunday, March 31, which was founded by the club 18 years ago and run as a successful fundraiser ever since.

This year the swap meet was a huge success, despite the cold temperatures. The Pony Club uses the funds to purchase equipment, uniforms and keep their grounds maintained.
On March 30-31, Madison Whitley and Julia Hill travelled to Bredbo in Southern NSW to compete in the Michelago Double Chance Sporting Gymkhana.
This year the swap meet was a huge success, despite the cold temperatures.
The girls competed in 17 sporting events, twice, over two days.
Julia placed third overall in the 12 years age group. Madison placed in 16 out of 17 events to come second in the 15 years age group.
Both Julia and Madison made the finals of the Man From Snowy River Flag Spectacular.
Top 25 fastest flag race times compete in five heats and a final to battle out for the overall winner. Madison placed third overall.
Nine members from Oberon Pony Club competed at the Bathurst Show Pony Club Day on April 28.
Results: Georgie Webb, Reserve Champion under 9 years; Annabelle Webb, Reserve Champion 9 to 11 years; Zali Cameron, Reserve Champion 11-13 years.
Annabelle Webb won E Grade Showjumping with Philippa Webb finishing third.
Rosie Forsyth won C grade Showjumping.
Mikaylee, Dash, Jack and Madison came home with a swag of ribbons, representing Oberon very well.
