Firstly, I refer to the article "A rubbish way to welcome visitors".
A 20-lot primitive camping ground was approved by Oberon Council at the Reef Reserve on September 18, 2018.
There were seven objections to this, however, this was officially opened in early October 2018.
Some of the conditions for this were the camping ground must have signed prohibitions that clearly specifies the requirements of all users, the external roads were to be upgraded, sites levelled, the car park clearly signposted and additional rubbish bins.
To date, none of this work has been carried out.
Secondly, I refer to the article "Unhappy campers".
This development application is for only three primitive campsites at Waldara Farm.
Oberon Council received only four objections to this application, however, some councillors have issues with the application.
Is there one rule for Oberon Council applications and another for private enterprise?
