There is a wide range of activities on offer to keep local children, along with their visiting guests, busy and creative.

Children can get crafty and make last minute decorations for Easter or even try their hand at giving used good fresh life such as reusing baling twine to create a basket for the Waste to Art competition.
Captain Crackers, from Aqualife Explorers will be making a special appearance visiting the library and will be bringing his special sea creatures with him, allowing the children to get up close and personal and learn everything there is to know about sea life.
For those with careful hands, an eye for detail and a never ending imagination, there is also the chance to get hands on when the library hosts the ever popular Lego workshop with all creations on display in the library for the following month.

10.30am to 12.00pm - open to all ages.
A wide range of activities with Easter craft including bunnies, chickens, baskets and eggs. The best chance to make some last minute decorations before a certain bunny visits.

Wednesday, April 17.
12.30 to 1.30pm - open to all ages.
The perfect opportunity to come and meet Captain Crackers himself and his wonderful array of sea creatures. Captain Crackers will bring along many amazing sea creatures for children to watch, touch and and learn more about. The Captain's theme of his presentation is sustainability and caring for our environment.

- Waste 2 Art
Thursday, April 18.
10.30am -12.30pm - open to ages 10 and over.
Ever thought about making a basket using recycled materials? With this years Waste 2 Art theme "Year of Baling Twine and Strapping", Artist Sally Blackwell will guide participants through the techniques of creating a woven basket using baling twine.
