Organisers said they will hold 48 events, including free and paid experiences, during the festival.
"We know that the best way to help regional towns is to visit and spend money there, and we also know that the regional areas are often overlooked when it comes to festivals and experiences," Canon Australia director of consumer imaging Jason McLean said.
"We're excited to be rolling out the Regional Photography Festival in 2019 starting with NSW.
"Whether you're a school student, a teacher, a small business operator or you're just looking to have fun with photography, we've something for everyone."

Orange360 general manager Caddie Marshall said she congratulates Canon on making a conscious effort to invest in programs for regional areas.
