The OGY display table was crowded with entries and obviously the competition this year is off to a flying start. Our visitor Lynne chose the winner: Nancy Brown with a collection of colourful and varied hydrangeas.
The members' overall vote, however, remains a secret until it is all tallied at the end of the year. The raffle was won by Nancy Brown, who seemed to be having a very good day.
This month our meeting will be as usual at the Uniting Church Hall on Monday, March 18 at 10am.
Following will be a trip to Lithgow Community Garden for anyone interested, with perhaps a visit to a Lithgow garden as well. Car pooling will be organised after the meeting. Bring your own lunch.
Hope to see lots of you there. And don't forget your OGY entry.
There are still some interesting autumn flowers and vegies around that should impress. It gets harder during winter!
