Each Friday, one of our classes from kindergarten to year six walk from school to the nursing home and are treated with morning tea and lots of smiley faces when they arrive.
The residents thoroughly enjoy listening to the students read and look forward to their weekly visits.
The Oberon aged care facility is a fully accredited nursing home that has been purpose built to suit the needs of the Oberon community.
The facility opened in May 2015 and is now home to more than 60 residents.
