OBERON Council is proud to support various community organisations and groups each year. This support contributes towards important initiatives and events for the Oberon local government area. Community organisations, sporting bodies, groups or individuals who need funding to continue their endeavours during 2019/20 are invited to apply for funding under Section 356 Donations for the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. Section 356 Donations are a way for council to assist in the day-to-day operations of community activities. Obtain and complete an application form by 4pm, March 29, 2019. The form is available at the council administration office and library or can be downloaded on council's website.

AUXILIARY
THE next meeting of the Oberon Hospital Auxiliary will be held in the Robey Centre of the hospital at 2pm on Friday, March 15. Any newcomers will be very warmly welcomed.
CHAD MORGAN
THE Burraga Ag Bureau will host the living legend, Chad Morgan, for a stage show on Friday, March 22 at 7.30pm. Tickets are $20 at the door, children under 12 free. Oberon Mini Bus Service will run a bus at a cost of $40 (including door entry).

KNIT AND NATTER
KNIT and Natter group meets on the second Wednesday of each month in the activity room at the Robert Hooper Community Centre from 10am to 2pm. All knitters are welcome. Bring your lunch and knitting or crocheting and come and join like-minded people.
