Oberon Heritage and Collectors Club, the co-ordinator of the 2019 event, will be at Oberon Showground showing a variety of tractors and farm machinery, vintage trucks, cars, stationary engines, collectables and much more. Featured in 2019 will be horse-drawn vehicles - vehicles that have never before been exhibited at the Oberon Heritage Fair.
Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway will be open to explain the rich history of the Oberon to Tarana branch line and show a rare collection of historic carriages, locomotives and wagons and how they relate to the growth and prosperity of Oberon. Hear about their plans for the future.
The Skoda and Tatra Museum, Oberon’s newest museum, will showcase some extremely rare Tatra and Skoda motor cars. The Tatra vehicle company is the third oldest continuing manufacturer of vehicles in the world, having started in the 1890s. The museum is located adjacent to the OTHR station.
Oberon and District Museum will have a selection of photos and artefacts relating to the early days of Oberon’s settlement and before.

Barry Hughes has an extremely interesting and significant private tractor and collectables museum located in Endeavour Street. See an array of fully restored tractors, trucks and a variety of collectables, plus a collage of Barry’s very interesting life.
Lastly, the Oberon Sub Branch Military Museum, located on the corner of Oberon and Dudley Streets, is a large museum dedicated to the men and women of Oberon who served their country in all wars and peacekeeping operations.
This is a once-in-a-year opportunity to see all five museums and showground exhibit open at once and is not to be missed.
A free bus will circulate Oberon with drop-offs at each museum and will operate during opening times 9am to 4.30pm.
