THE Arrow’s Newsagency Eliminator was held last Wednesday in rather sticky but mild conditions. The golf course was in great shape, but it did pay to stay on the fairways.

Twelve ladies participated in the stableford round, with Joan Graham coming in with the best score of 32 points. Barbara Coleman also came in with 32 points, but had to be happy with second place after a countback. Third was Katie Graham with 31 points.
Nearest the pin in Division 1 was Katie Graham. No-one in Division 2 made the green.
Next week will be the second round of the Arrow’s Newsagency Eliminator, which will be a stableford round. A committee meeting will follow the golf. Jenn Capel and Bev Dale have desk duties.
