The day also saw a number of Oberon residents recognised for their service to the community.
Two people who reside in Oberon became Australian citizens, while a long list of awards were also presented to people of all ages.
Australia Day Ambassador Justin Herald visited Oberon to help present the awards.

He is also regarded as one of Australia’s most sought-after speakers.
