WILD and wet overnight weather has left some parts of the region sodden while others did not even record a drop of rain.

The rain started late on Wednesday night and by 7am on Thursday Orange had recorded the most rain with 32.0 millimetres.
Bathurst and Forbes also received significant downfalls with 20.4mm and 20.2mm respectively.
Other locations in the Central West also recorded significant falls including Lithgow (16mm), Cowra (15.4mm) and Parkes (15mm)
Just 1mm of rain was recorded in Young, while the Bureau of Meterology’s rain gauge in Dubbo recorded no overnight rain for the city.
The wild weather also brought a number of overnight power outages to the region and by 7am some residents remained without power.
Essential Energy’s websites stated that at 7am the largest outage was in Fifield west of Trundle with 59 customers impacted.
There are also 23 customers without power in Trunkey Creek, four in both Forbes and north-west of Trangie and three in Orange.
