THERE were 23 golfers on Thursday afternoon when Barry Stubbs recorded a very good score of 33 points for the 12 holes to win the afternoon.

Paul Behan had his eye in and was closest to the pin on the first hole. Balls went to Peter Dale, Don Miller, Bob Slattery, Bill Wilcox, Peter Ryan and Paul Behan.
On Saturday there was a good field of 42 players playing and 18 hole par event.
Dylan Kyte had a marvelous score of +6 to win A grade while Neil Whalan enjoyed a return to form to be runner up on +4.
Harold Lyme had a great round of +5 to win B Grade while Alex Pointon was runner up on +4. Terry Robinson was nearest the pin on the 7th.
Just a metr from the hole and Robert Hayden was closest on the 17th. Balls went to Bob Slattery, Eric Whalan, Terry Robinson, Robert Hayden, Kevin Hally and Bruce Amery.
The golf course is in great condition due to lots of help from some of the members mowing and using the whipper sniper.
This weekend is the Oberon Golf Club Open. We are hoping for a good turn out of local members and visitors.
Saturday we play a 4BBB and mixed 4BBB stableford event. On Sunday we play a Stableford and Stroke event, nearest the pins and longest drive for A and B grade.
Last year we had golfers from Bermagui, Lithgow, Bathurst, Blackheath, Warringah, Penrith, Cabramatta, Portland, Wallacia and Henbury golf clubs.
