The new green was funded by the NSW Government's Clubgrants for $160,000 which was announced in January this year by Member for Bathurst Paul Toole.
Oberon RSL Club manager Peter Price said the new green will bring regional bowlers to the town and they can now hold more competitions to attract more bowlers to Oberon.
On the open tournament day there's over $3000 in prizes to give away. Entry is $30 per team which includes lunch. Entries in by October 29 to manageroberonrsl.com.au
