There will be six events based on past activities in the hall. The aim is to collect oral and pictorial memories of the hall from 1937 to 1977.
As part of the celebration, The Brad Child Swingtet will present a night of jazz music on the Saturday from 7pm.
“The Swingtet is a seven-piece swing orchestra comprised of the best swing jazz musicians in Australia,” a Malachi Revival spokesperson said.
“Wear your best party clothes and swing the night away to the fabulous sounds of a hot swing jazz band playing Miller, Basie, Goodman, Ellington and more.”
The evening will be hosted by Darcy Cheesewright.
