“Register early to avoid disappointment, as there are limited spots,” a spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said there was a huge response to the event held in November 2017, “with very good support from sponsors”.

“There were 220 players registered for the event on what turned out to be a very pleasant day,” the spokesperson said.

“One of the features on the day was the hole-in-one shootout on the first hole.”

Oberon Council presented a cheque for $4000 – the proceeds from the 2017 annual golf day – to the Oberon branch of Can Assist in May this year, which was gratefully received.
