There’s also been a push from Oberon businesses to link with the website to help drive traffic for both the website and their business.
Oberon Business and Tourism Association president Helen Lowe said she’s been pleased with how the site has been received in the past month.

“We are very happy with the new website and it’s been a nice, new, fresh look for Oberon,” she said.
The website includes links to accommodation and dining in the region, as well as places to explore, local events and links to various businesses.
The website even has its own page dedicated to snow, providing a link to the Oberon Visitor Information Centre’s weather cam so visitors can check if snow has fallen in the region before heading out.
Ms Lowe said the website has received plenty of traffic in the past month but with more promotion, it’ll gain even more viewers.
“The website is starting to pick up traffic,” she said.
“We encourage people to visit it and use it as much as possible and that will help create its profile and gain better traffic.”

She also said there’s been plenty of feedback received from the Oberon community.
“We’ve had businesses and members of the community contact us, saying they’re all happy with the way it looks,” she said.
“Feedback has been positive and the aim is to now get the visitation to the website as high as possible.
“Everyone can play a role in that by visiting it and linking their business with the website.”
