While I do not wish to continue along the same debate regarding this so-called wonder drug, I applaud the fact that you supported Keith Sullivan’s articulate response involving certain facts and statistics.
Debating is an excellent form of discussion at a community level, especially when the local newspaper is prepared to print both sides of the argument.
I also noted that if one writer disagrees with another writer, things can become somewhat personal.

If current information is correct that the majority response of the surveys was against fluoridation, why did council not accept this?
Wouldn’t it be a wonderful act if the NSW Government were to introduce the benefits of oral hygiene at primary school level, where the use of a toothbrush and toothpaste could be implemented and encouraged?
The kids might then be inclined to remind dad to buy toothpaste along with the eggs and cereal.
It is also important to consider that many forms of therapeutics applauded and prescribed by the medical profession have been found to be extremely harmful after both long and short term use.
