A hard-working blue-collar Lithgow man in his 50s has been “blown away” by the news he is now $35 million richer after sharing the Division One jackpot in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw.

The man was unaware of his win until an Oz Lotto official made contact with him immediately after last night’s draw.
When the life-changing win was confirmed, the Lithgow local couldn’t contain his shock and excitement.
“Oh, fair dinkum? You’re kidding? That is the best news I’ve had in a long time. Hallelujah,” he said.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa. That’s hard to process. I’m speechless.
“That has blown me away. That is just great. Thank you, thank you, thank you – just awesome.”
As the news began to sink in, the Lithgow man started to speculate how he might use his windfall.
“It goes without saying I’ll be helping the kids out and I’m sure my retirement plans will be fast-tracked,” he declared.
“I’ll tell you what - my next holiday will be at the pointy end of the plane.
“It still hasn’t sunk in yet. It has completely blown us away. I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight.”
The thrilled winner, who wished to remain anonymous, purchasedbought his 6-game QuickPick entry from Lithgow’s Top End Newsagency.
Newsagency owner Anna Nguyen said she was thrilled to discover the winning entry had been sold from her outlet.
“How exciting. I can’t think of anything to say at the moment!.I’m blown away,” she said.
“Congratulations to our winner.”
