Through some very generous donations, a crazy hair day and a cake stall, they raised an amazing total of $392.20. Students also contributed by bringing in a large quantity of toiletries.
It was a true reflection of our wonderful supportive school community and demonstrated the importance of service and giving to others.
League finals
CONGRATULATIONS to all of the St Joseph’s year 3/4 rugby league team who travelled to Dubbo for the Russell Richardson Cup finals.
Every player should be extremely proud of their effort, teamwork and sportsmanship. The talent on display was exceptional and to come away with a draw and two narrow losses is a credit to the players, their families and St Joseph’s.
A huge thank you to all of the wonderful parents and friends who supported the team on the day.
CWA project
CONGRATULATIONS to Georgia Pincott, Neive Hogan and Ella Robinson from St Joseph's who were successful in the CWA Project Competition. The country researched this year was Poland.
The students and their families were invited to a special presentation and luncheon.
Stem day
ST Joseph’s year six students had a wonderful day at La Salle Academy in Lithgow participating in a variety of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) activities.
These included circuit-building, chemical reactions, measurement and the effects of friction.
Special thanks to Mr McKinnon and the year eight students at La Salle for co-ordinating the day.
