If it comes, it will follow a light dusting of snow last Friday for Oberon and areas south of the town on a day that ranged from 0.5 degrees Celsius to a maximum of only 6.2.
Temperatures dropped significantly over Saturday and Sunday, with the Bureau of Meteorology recording -5 and -5.3 respectively.
There has only been 8.3 millimetres of rain recorded for Oberon for July – well down on the long-term average of 70.6mm. Oberon Dam is at 56.94 per cent capacity.
