Kira is a business services partner based at the Bathurst and Oberon offices of Morse Group Accountants and Advisors.
Kira joined the company in 2003 after graduating from Charles Sturt University with degrees in a Bachelor of Business (accounting) and a Bachelor of Information Technology.
She was subsequently admitted as a chartered accountant by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2006.
“As a young professional, Kira built a foundation on business skills providing advice to a variety of small business, rural and family group clients,” Morse Group managing partner Justin Enright said.
“In parallel, Kira specifically developed expertise in accounting and administration skills of self-managed superannuation funds [SMSF] and has been overseeing the growing volume of Morse Group SMSF clients and has imparted that knowledge on those team members working with and around herself.”
Kira became a partner of Morse Group in 2012. She completed the SMSF program in conjunction with the University of NSW and attained the CA SMSF specialist designation in 2013.
“Kira has been a very consistent, reliable advisor throughout her tenure of service at Morse Group and is an excellent team member,” Mr Enright said.
“She has over 15 years’ experience in public practice accounting now and is in particular very knowledgeable on self-managed superannuation funds and business advisory for small business and primary production family groups.”
Kira was born and bred in Oberon and is raising her young family in Oberon.
"Local involvement in the Oberon community continues with Kira in her second tenure as the treasurer of the very visible and prominent Oberon Business and Tourism Association,” Mr Enright said.
“We at Morse Group are all extremely proud of Kira’s longstanding contribution and daily example of carving out a rewarding career in a regional location whilst remaining very connected to the community she is part of and now raising her own young family all at the same time.”
