School principal Jaydem Hadson said St Joseph's was able to secure capital works funding of $750,000 in 2017 through the Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst for a new administration building.
"It is an exciting project for the school and the community as having high-quality educational choices is vital to a thriving community," he said.
St Joseph's has a 106-year history with Oberon.
"This new administration building will function as a place of meeting to continue the strong partnership between school and community,” Mr Hadson said.
“Our school has been growing in numbers as it continues to enhance infrastructure and resources.
"Each student at the school has access to a contemporary and nurturing learning environment. Our students receive the best possible start to their education.
“This new project coincides with the opening of our kindy enrolments."
