Some highlights included Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, Australian Electoral Commission, Old Parliament House, Royal Australian Mint, Questacon and the Australian Institute of Sport. An enjoyable time was had by everyone.
All students were commended many times for their respect, engagement, eagerness to learn more and their understanding of democracy and government.
The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit the national capital as part of their civics and citizenship education and contributed $20 funding per student.
