In recent weeks we have been conducting a survey seeking information on the future effect such an attraction might have on Oberon’s economy.
The results are being collected and data provided will form part of our submission to the State Government for funding.
It’s not surprising to find Oberon’s business houses are enthusiastic towards OTHR’s vision.
It is, after all, a whole-of-town project and it is for everyone to have a say on the potential benefits for your economy.
Many are expressing the view that with Jenolan Caves, Mayfield Garden and Waldara Reception venue, this is yet another potential attraction for visitors.
If you haven’t handed your survey in or would like to participate, please contact publicity officer David on 0408 606 889.
OTHR’s museum is now functional and is open for inspection on the first Saturday of each month from 10am to 2pm. Entry fee is $5 (under 18 free).
