THURSDAY golf attracted one of the largest fields for some time.

Nineteen players tested their skills over the 12 holes.

Saturday was a bit of a washout with some lovely rain, however, a small group of dedicated golfers did play without getting too wet.

Rob McGrath really enjoyed the rain. He was relaxed as he could hear the grass growing and was the winner with a fine score of 37 points.

Neil Whalan was the runner-up with 35 points.

Monday was a magnificent sunny winter’s day for golf. We had a good field play a stableford event.

Blake Miller had the weekend off football and had a great round of golf for 42 points, well ahead of the rest of the field.

Balls went to Alan Cairney, Anthony McGrath, Peter Stewart, Irene Bishop, Eric Whalan, Laurie Murphy, John Crichton, John McKinnon and Steve Serong.

There are several jobs to be commenced on the course over the next few weeks. If any of our golfers have some time to help, contact Mick English.
