Bathurst MP Paul Toole said new playground equipment would be installed at Black Springs and Burraga for the benefit of residents and visitors.
And the playground at Hassall Park at O’Connell will have a new shade sail placed over the existing playground equipment.
“This Village Park and Playground Renewal grant of $100,000 comes thanks to the Government‘s Stronger Country Communities Fund,” Mr Toole said.
“You only have to look at the playground at Black Springs to realise this facility has well and truly reached its use by date.”
Mr Toole said the shade sail over the playground at Hassall Park would further add to its appeal.
“This is a really popular recreation area in summer and this funding fits in perfectly with gas barbecues installed at this location,” he said.
