Malachi Gilmore Hall has been home to Cobweb for the past 33 years and the previous home was a store next door to Arrow's Newsagency.
Through strong membership, the shop has become a well-known entity in its own right, selling jams, relishes, knitted toys, woodworks and homewares.
The Bicentennial Tapestries will find a new home in the refurbished Community Centre.
Cobweb spokeswoman Flo Spence said it was a sad day, but to relocate was out of the question as they run on a voluntary basis.
The art deco Malachi Gilmore Hall was purchased by Lucy and Johnnie East, who will renovate the hall to be a versatile space for the Oberon community.
