Eighteen rolls of insulation, valued at $1500, were stolen from the building site overnight from Wednesday, April 4 to Thursday, April 5 and president Bill Wilcox says it was “just a mongrel act".
"Construction was delayed as more insulation had to be sourced before the project could go ahead,” he said.

"The total cost of the new building is about $80,000. Half the money came from government grants and the rest came from our own funds.
"We've worked hard to get this project off the ground. With the additional space, we can now display a lot of items we have had in storage."
Mr Wilcox said any problems put the opening day further back.
"We have reported this to police, but if anyone has any information, please contact them. It would have taken a ute or trailer to remove the insulation – someone must have seen something.”
