The Rotary Club of Oberon was privileged recently to be shown around the well-kept grounds and cabins that go to make up Melaleuca Chalets.
While not all of the nine cabins were available for show, those that were proved to be tastefully furnished and decorated to enhance the rustic look of the cabins. Each chalet was screened by shrubs and trees to provide privacy while maximising the lovely views over Duckmaloi valley.
The grounds included some lovely barbecue and picnic areas, ideal for families or groups to have an evening barbie. Vocational tours are part of the Rotary Club’s program to help members learn what’s available in the community and understand the various businesses that make up Oberon.
