According to you, toothpaste is important.
We both know that one brushing with fluoride toothpaste is more exposure to fluoride than a whole year of drinking fluoridated water, so what’s the point of fluoridating the water supply?
I ask again, where’s the local study? Oberon is not mentioned in the 2007 NSW CDHS. The “Oberon” study you refer to is for the Greater Western Area Health Service study which includes Lightning Ridge!
How many Oberon children were actually surveyed?
I have no issue with qualified professionals advocating a position over anecdote, but when Walt Secord gets onto Sydney radio, and cites his “anecdote” of bad dental health as a result of his not having access to fluoridated water, yet I was and I have a poor dental record, there is only one truth here. Neither of us took the proper care with our dental hygiene nor diet when growing up.
There are people in Oberon who have perfect teeth because they took care of their dental health.
Education, not fluoridation, is the answer to excellent dental health.
