Oberon Council offers support to upcoming Oberon Show
In finance and community services director Lynette Safranek's report, it stated that in previous years, council had always provided assistance to the show with mowing, marquees, plumbing and rubbish collection as part of its yearly town maintenance.
Her report said there was no amount agreed upon and it was very difficult to track the cost.
Cr Mick McKechnie said he thought it was council's obligation to support local events.
