Letter: Thanks for the rock, the toe-tapping and the chance to sing along

GREAT SUCCESS: The 66ERS provided entertainment at the Oberon Arts Council's music extravaganza.

I WAS fortunate enough to attend a function presented by Oberon Arts Council in what we know as the Old Scout Hall, part of the Oberon Golf Club. It was a musical memory from my years of youth.

We were entertained by a wonderful band called the 66ERS. It was a three o’clock rock session where these very talented performers played music from back in the 50s through until the end of the 60s. What an absolutely fantastic afternoon’s entertainment. People were dancing as well as toe-tapping and singing along.

Many thanks to the Oberon Arts Council for giving Oberon people the opportunity to sit, relax and listen to the wonderful music from the very best music time and performed so professionally.
