Work will involve replacing the road surface and line marking between Ross Street and North Street.
The work will be carried out between 7pm and 6am on weekdays, weather permitting, according to the RMS.
RMS says changed traffic conditions, including lane and side road closures and a reduced speed limit, will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
“Motorists should plan their trip, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of traffic control and all signs, including reduced speed limits,” a spokesperson said.
RMS also advises motorists there will be changed traffic conditions for road improvement work on O’Connell Road at Oberon Mount. Work will include strengthening and resurfacing the road.
This work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays only and is expected to be completed by Wednesday, December 6.
Motorists should also allow extra travel time on this road.
