Councillors were supplied with a 114 page copy of Oberon Council’s unaudited financial statements at September's ordinary meeting of council.
The draft 2016/17 financial statements are being audited by Crowe Horwath and the Auditor General's Department as part of the audit process.
Finance and community services director Lynette Safranek urged councillors to contact her with any questions they might have in regards to the report.
The statements said total income from continuing operations is $19,454,000 and total expenses from continuing operations is $15,019,000, resulting in a net operating result of $4,435,000.
Total current assets are $15,220,000, total current liabilities are $2,703,000, total non-current assets are $279,349,000, total non-current liabilities are $4,086,000 and total equity is $287,781,000.
The audited financial statements will be presented to council's ordinary meeting on October 17 for adoption.
The statements will be on public exhibition between October 18 and November 21, 2017 on council's website or in hard copy version at council's administration centre and Oberon Library.
