About the role

We are seeking a compassionate animal lover dedicated to operating with the highest level of professionalism to assist pet owners honour the lives of their beloved companions.  The hours of work would be from from Monday to Friday with some weekend work from time to time as negotiated. 

  • Operating cremation and ashes processing equipment
  • Maintenance and basic repairs to site equipment
  • Assisting drivers load and unload pets
  • Yard and maintenance duties as required

We take pride in conducting a very ethical, clean, neat and hygienic operation.  There is some heavy lifting involved using lifting equipment and full training will be provided in this area. 

To be successful in this role you will

  • Be strong and physically fit to be able to lift heavy pets
  • Be comfortable handling deceased pets
  • Be experienced in safe lifting procedures
  • Be able to do repetitive lifting
  • Be exposed to extreme temperatures
  • Be flexible with a positive work ethic, the pets and clients will be your first priority
  • Have a compassionate and caring nature and be an animal lover
  • Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a tight team
  • Be experienced in completing paperwork accurately and have excellent attention to detail
  • Be reliable, trustworthy and take pride in your work
  • Be an organised and neat worker who is committed to keeping the premises clean and tidy    
  • Be fully COVID vaccinated
